Publish an article on your site, earn satellites (\u25c9), and spend them to get articles about you on other sites in your niche.<\/p>\n\n<p>This plugin:<\/p>\n\n<ul>\n<li><p>lets you join Satelo in one click from Settings \u2192 Satelo (you enter your email and accept the terms; nothing is sent before that);<\/p><\/li>\n<li><p>verifies that you own the site (adds a <code>satelo-verify<\/code> meta tag);<\/p><\/li>\n<li>publishes exchange articles in the category you choose, with cover image, images in the text, tags, SEO description and a \"Partner content\" label;<\/li>\n<li>sets the agreed <code>rel<\/code> attribute on outgoing links (<code>sponsored<\/code> by default);<\/li>\n<li>lets you choose auto-placement (publish immediately) or drafts for manual review;<\/li>\n<li>counts pageviews without cookies (no IP addresses or personal data stored) and sends daily totals to Satelo as verified traffic for your Quality Score;<\/li>\n<li>stops new articles as soon as you deactivate it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p>Only requests signed with your secret key are accepted. Limits, topics and blacklists are managed in your Satelo dashboard.<\/p>\n\n<h3>External services<\/h3>\n\n<p>This plugin connects to the Satelo API (https:\/\/satelo.io\/api\/connector) to confirm the connection, send a daily status (site URL, WordPress and plugin version, categories list, language, daily pageview totals) and receive articles. Pageviews are counted by a small script that calls this site's own REST API; no cookies are set and no IP addresses or personal data are stored. Images in articles are downloaded from the URLs supplied by Satelo into your media library. Joining Satelo and exchanging articles is free.
